The forthcoming exit from the European Union has created a raft of new legislation items in order to ensure the UK's current legislative framework continues to function after exit day.

The majority of these legislation items simply update existing legislation to remove references to "Member State" and to certain Directives that will no longer apply from exit day.

They also make a range of technical updates and some take the opportunity to correct minor drafting errors.

In general there are no new policy changes of substantive changes to legislative framework frm these regulations.

• The Persistent Organic Pollutants (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
