The Water Act 2014 (Commencement No. 8 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2017 - 6th March 2017

This Order is the eighth commencement order made under the Water Act 2014 (c.21) (“the 2014 Act”) in relation to England and Wales. Article 2 commences provisions in the 2014 Act amending provisions of the Water Industry Act 1991 (c.56) which allow a water or sewerage undertaker’s non-household customers to notify the undertaker that water supply or sewerage services to their premises are instead to be provided by a water supply or sewerage licensee. The notice is to specify the time after which the undertaker will no longer be required to provide water supply or sewerage services to those premises. Article 3 contains a transitional provision so that the notice served cannot specify a date prior to 1st April 2017.

 

The Plant Health (Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 - 6th March 2017

These Regulations amend the Plant Health (Fees) (England) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 2014/601) to correct an error in Schedule 2 to those Regulations, as last substituted by S.I. 2016/1255. The entry in respect of fruit of Citrus up to 25,000 kg from Mexico is removed and replaced with an entry in respect of fruit of Citrus up to 25,000 kg from Morocco.

 

The Feed-in Tariffs (Amendment) Order 2017 - 20th March 2017

This Order, which applies to Great Britain, amends the Feed–in Tariffs Order 2012. Article 3 amends article 2 (interpretation) by omitting the definition of “tariff period” and adding “generation meter reading” and “tariff period” to the list of expressions that have the meaning given in Standard Licence Condition 33 of electricity supply licences.
