Managing Audit & Criteria Custom Fields

Available for user levels:

  • Account Adminstrator
  • Manager

With our update released on 4th July 2020, there are now 2 types of Custom fields in the audit module.

  1. Audit Custom fields -- These are against the audit as a whole e.g. Site Name, Internal Reference number etc etc
  2. Criteria Custom fields -- Create fields within your audits against individual criteria. e.g. Criteria - Does the office have the correct fire signage? Custom field - Now list the fire signs visible?

To create a custom field against an audit you will need to view the audit dashboard for the audit you have created

Now when I run my audit you can see my custom fields appear.

You will also see that the ability to 'copy' a field has disappeared. That's because we have developed our fields to allow you to create 1 field to use across multiple audits e.g. Create field > Site Name > Drop-down field with names of sites. Now I have created this field once I can choose to add that field again, rather than 'add new field' I can 'Select field' as below. 

With this new function it's important to be able to manage all of your fields including any duplicate ones you already have in the system. The way to manage this is under Options > Manage Fields.
